The Church recognises the personal dignity and rights of all Vulnerable People towards whom it has a special responsibility. UNION OF CATHOLIC MOTHERS
Meet 1st (Church Hall) & 3rd Wednesdays (social) 8pm. New members welcome
The St Columba’s Foundation is part of the national Union of Catholic Mothers and is open to all Catholic and Christian women, married or single, mothers or not. We meet twice a month to socialise and discuss national and local issues concerning women and family life. We also raise money for our annual charity through a quiz night each year to involve the whole parish – just one of the ways in which we try to be an active group within St Columba’s. Our programme of events and information about the UCM are posted on the church notice board. It’s a great way to extend your friendship group and meet more people within the parish.
